AnswersIn Medicine is an online e-commerce website that allows users to purchase short medical interviews online. Each track (Mp3 and MP4 video formats) can be bought and downloaded directly from the website or alternatively a CD containing all the interviews can be purchased. Users purchase the CDs and mp3/mp4 tracks via credit card payment.

Brief

The brief was to develop a stylish and easy-to-use website that allows users to either purchase interactive CDs or buy and download individual tracks directly from the website. The website needed to be fully updatable by the client. EHD was also asked to help with the content on the CDs as well as design of the CD packaging.

What we did

• Design - A clean crisp design. This website reflects the professionalism of the medical industry without intimidating the user through unnecessary graphic images. The design also incorporates modern elements associated with the mp3 download industry. A left hand menu split into three categories makes navigation around the site extremely straightforward.
• Development - The website is fully content managed allowing AnswersIn Medicine to update all content and manage the upload of new tracks to the website.The powerful Admin Panel we developed allows AnswersIn Medicine to manage their orders as well as all other aspects of the website from newsletter subscriptions, viewing purchasing statistics, adding meta content to each page and managing free samples.
• CD Content - The CD content consists of interactive interviews with integrated text, downloadable transcripts, fantastic animations, excellent clinical images and helpful virtual vivas.
• Design of packaging and duplicationof the CDs sold on the site.
